Penance and Hope for Absolution That broken dizain bothered me so much that I had to write another one and give it to Jack in the 14th NaPoWriMo poem (at the bottom of the page). The form is originally syllabic, so even though in English it’s usually IP, I’m not completely happy to rely on the poet’s ancient right of elision. Oh well.
